What do we do?

We work with women to help them jump of the hamster wheel of yo-yo dieting. The program is named Metabolic Mapping because it focuses on optimizing the metabolic function in our bodies. Basically we do this through lifestyle and habit changes that deal with stress, sleep, daily movement, strength training, eating adequate protein and fiber and eliminating the binge/restrict or all or nothing mindset. There are no fads, supplements or medications involved. No foods are off limits. Your coach designs your personal Metabolic Roadmap and guides you through it week by week!

How do we do it?

Most traditional "diets" just create a cycle of losing and regaining weight.  This happens because those diets either cut calories too low, cut out foods or food groups completely, or utilize excessive exercise.  (Many are a combination of all three!)  When this happens, the dieter's metabolism will slow even more because she will just naturally become less active during her daily routine as her body fights to conserve energy, and she will lose much needed muscle mass.  A person can actually lose weight on the scale but have a higher body fat percentage!  We negate all of that with our tried and true Metabolic Mapping Method.  It is a three phased program that is adapted to each individual client: her goals, her schedule, her needs.

 

Phase 1 is the Tune-Up: You wouldn't go on a road trip without making sure your car was ready for the journey.  That is why we help our clients "tune up" mentally and physically to prepare for fat loss.  Here, you will work on small habit changes that are customized to you.  You will begin a reasonable strength training program as well to build and keep that valuable muscle mass on your body.  Want that toned look?  WE GOT YOU! You will be able to chose between strength training at home or in a gym.  Both programs are strategically designed to give you maximum results in the least amount of time.  Who has time for exercise 7 days a week???  We also customize your nutrition in this phase to allow you body to fuel with adequate calories, protein and fiber! 

 

Phase 2 is the Road Trip: Wahoo!  This is where slow sustainable fat loss is the focus.  We want it slow and sustainable because you don't want to have to do this AGAIN!  Many of our clients comment that they can't believe they eat so much on a "diet" and lose weight!  When you do it right, its kind of magical - especially if you have been used to a "diet culture" way of thinking. Don't know what is too little or too much to eat on a diet?  We do!

Phase 3 is the Exit Ramp Strategies: We are in the business of cutting our clients loose!  Not because we don't love them, but because we teach them to not need a coach forever. Our end goal is for you to graduate from the program.  In this phase, you will learn tactics to enjoy your life and still maintain the results you and your coach achieved.  No one wants to be on a diet or track food forever.  

​The cool part is that you don't have to figure any of this out on your own!  Your trained coach is here to design your Metabolic Roadmap and walk you through each step week by week. Your coach will also serve as your accountability partner and cheerleader!
